The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a recall for greater than 62,000 pounds of uncooked beef because of E. coli issues.

- The raw meat recalled was packaged at the Aurora Packing Company, Inc in North Aurora, Illinois on April 19, however, was shipped nationwide for distribution.
- According to the USDA’s announcement, the raw meat recalled has the number “EST. 788” contained in the USDA mark of inspection. The recall contains greater than 40 products, most are cuts of steak, like ribeyes, in addition to ribs and brisket cuts.
